Museum of Jewish Heritage Celebrates Persian Heritage with Purim and Nowruz Spring Equinox Festival

On Sunday, March 29, The Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust will present a Spring Equinox Festival showcasing Persian Jewish heritage during the holidays of Purim and Nowruz. The celebration includes a full day of music and dance performances, food tastings, games, short films and more, taking place at the Museum’s Edmond J. Safra Plaza in Lower Manhattan. For Persian Jews, these holidays reflect thousands of years of continuous history in the region and a vibrant diasporic culture that endures around the world today.
