Can your organization measure D&I, identify opportunities to improve, and implement them? The key to these skills is gaining an understanding of ISO-30415:2021 by earning a Diversity & Inclusion Professional Certificate from UGA Executive Education. This program is presented in partnership with Inclusion Score, the operating system for assessing D&I organizational risk. With training from established experts in this area, you’ll learn to minimize risk by creating inclusive business processes — from hiring practices to communications to supplier diversity. The AAF’s 2024 Virtual Most Promising Multicultural Student Awards Ceremony and Recruiter’s Expo, Feb. 7

Since 1997, the American Advertising Federation (AAF) began the Most Promising Multicultural Student program to connect the advertising industry with the nation’s top multicultural college students. Since then, almost 1000 students from 220 colleges and universities have participated in this premier event, with nearly 90% of the students securing their first job in the industry by participating in Most Promising.

Most importantly, the program provides inductees with access and engagement to high-level industry leaders. Each year, the selected Most Promising inductees have an opportunity to meet with professionals from top agencies, brands, media, and tech companies during the exclusive Most Promising Recruiters Expo. Held in conjunction with the Expo, is the Building Bridges for Our Future Awards Ceremony and Industry Immersion program provide invaluable networking, professional development, and learning experiences.

The Industry Immersion component of the program allows students to experience the excitement of a career in advertising firsthand by visiting major advertisers, ad agencies and media and tech companies and attending workshops led by industry leaders. Advertising Community Joins to Reaffirm DEIB Commitment, Apr 11, New York, NY

On April 11, New York City’s Hall des Lumiéres will be the backdrop for a pivotal event in the advertising supported media community: The Advancing Diversity Hall of Honors Induction Experience. This exclusive fund-raising event is not just an evening of recognition and celebration; it’s a powerful opportunity for corporate entities to reaffirm their commitment to DEIB as a corporate priority by aligning themselves with an essential cause for advancing our community’s health and growth. It’s a testament to the tireless efforts of DEIB leaders within the advertising and media industry. Sixteen individuals from 14 organizations will be honored, joining the ranks of 36 members previously inducted. Inductees are leaders from Disney Advertising, General Motors, McDonald’s Corporation, Mattel, Reckitt, MAGNA Global, Horizon Media, A+E Networks, Alma Advertising, Walton Isaacson Advertising, ANA/AIMM, FUTURE NOW, AD CLUB and International ANDY Awards, and BOLD Culture. The Advancing Diversity Hall of Honors is the primary fund-raising event for the MediaVillage Education Foundation, a dedicated 501c3 nonprofit. This foundation is instrumental in fueling the growth of advertising-supported media through a variety of services supporting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) leaders, including diversity activism, educational scholarships, college loan relief, online learning resources, free thought leadership DEIB advocacy publishing, a free resume submission talent acquisition platform, and much more.
