SALARY: $100,000–$105,000/yr.



The Art Director for our DRTV/Digital team will work on the Agency’s largest telecom/mobile account specializing in African American segment insights, work, and process, as the main contact between client and agency teams in NY and LA.



Ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with African-American cultural and marketing experience, a “can do” attitude, with both strategic and executional expertise who works well in a  high-energy, fast-paced team environment to develop powerful strategic concepts and campaigns for TV/CTV, radio, and all digital platforms under a 360° campaign umbrella. Must love direct response marketing as much as brand work. Able to design with cultural relevance and be flexible to client requests and changes, present ideas, concepts and creative solutions effectively both internally and to the client. Being both a team player and self-starter are required. Equally comfortable in a lean entrepreneurial agency and client corporate environment. We are looking for the right fit, so the level can vary. This is not a 9 to 5 job, but definitely flexible.



  • Understands and applies the client’s business, competitors, products, and promotions, offers, graphic and brand standards
  • Conceives, develops, and executes Direct concepts (TV/CTV, digital, radio and/or print) consistent with the agreed-upon strategy and tailored to the medium
  • Checks concepts against the Job Order to ensure it meets strategic goals and objectives, and delivers completed projects on time and within budget
  • Prepares layouts for concepts approved by the client, type selections and treatments, and sees work through to its production
  • Develops storyboards, mock-ups and graphic treatments
  • Seeks out and works with photographers, illustrators, type houses and other suppliers
  • Reviews keylines, rough cuts, etc., for accuracy before final production
  • Supports presentation of creative materials to clients to be organized and effective
  • Reviews all materials with the Creative Director before proceeding to the next step.
  • Supervises broadcast production, adhering to schedules and budgets
  • Works closely with Print and/or TV Production and with the Art Buyer
  • Works productively and harmoniously as a teammate with copywriters / producers
  • Responsible of maintaining and organizing creative assets
  • Participates in daily status meetings and printer calls



  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience, 5-10 years in direct marketing space
  • Proficient with AI tools, Adobe XD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Workfront ProofHQ, Acrobat, Animate, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 360 products
    * Versed in Vev Design, After Effects and Premier a huge plus but not required 
  • Experience designing great creative for direct response, digital and 360° campaigns
  • Work well under pressure, prioritizing projects according to deadlines
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player with flexibility to adapt to changes in business
  • A self-starter that can work with minimal oversight and manage deadlines on multiple projects and effectively apply time management skills
  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills with sharp attention to detail, very important
