When
Lisa Skriloff left her position as Director of Marketing at The New York Times 22 years ago to found
Multicultural Marketing Resources, Inc. 
(MMR) she had a singular purpose in mind: to champion multicultural marketing and diversity in the communications industries. Bringing ideas and resources to corporate brand marketers and HR/Supplier Diversity Executives, providing journalists with diverse sources and raising the visibility of experts in outreach to Hispanic, African American, Asian American and LGBT consumers, people with disabilities, women and minority-business owners – this was the original plan and the work continues to this day.
In 1994, introducing corporate executives, multicultural marketing experts and journalists to each other was accomplished with her first initiatives, the publications The Source Book of Multicultural Experts and Multicultural Marketing News, printed and mailed then, now living on multicultural.com at
