DTC PERSPECTIVES ANNOUNCES WINNERS FOR MULTICULTURAL HEALTH MARKETING NATIONAL AWARDS

The second annual Multicultural Health Marketing (MCH) National conference held up to its billing of placing best-in-class multicultural healthcare advertising on display for the entire industry.

Presented by DTC Perspectives, the MCH National conference took place on Oct. 17-18 in Washington, D.C. where Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners for multiple advertising awards categories were announced.   Award submissions from pharmaceutical and OTC companies, medical device manufacturers, hospitals, NGOs, and advertising agencies were narrowed to 30 finalists spanning across four categories: Best Branded Campaigns for Television, Digital, Print, Radio, and 10 finalists for Best Overall Campaign.  Winners were announced at a celebratory lunch for this year’s finalists on Oct. 18 during the Multicultural Health Marketing National conference.

“The winners of this year’s awards have created unique ads providing culturally relevant messages. Many multicultural ads in the past just translated the Anglo ad into other languages or used African-American actors,” says Bob Ehrlich, CEO, DTC Perspectives.

The MCH National conference is an opportunity for marketers, healthcare providers, media companies, government officials, policy makers and representatives from health companies to network and learn about industry trends, best practices and emerging policy.  The conference features world-class speakers and panels comprised of multicultural marketers, medical, and government experts.

The 2014 annual MCH National conference will take place in Atlanta on October 15-17.  With attendance and sponsorships growing each year, the 2014 conference is expected to continue to establish this as the premiere Multicultural Health event.
