New York, NY – June 27, 2016 – Daisy Expósito-Ulla, Chairman and CEO of d expósito & Partners has been selected by ADCOLOR to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 10th Annual ADCOLOR Awards which will take place on Wednesday, September 21st during the 10th Annual ADCOLOR Conference and Awards in Boca Raton, Florida from September 18-21, 2016. The ADCOLOR Awards highlight and honor the achievements of African-American, American Indian/Native American, Asian Pacific-American, Hispanic/Latino, LGBT professionals and diversity and inclusion champions in creative industries.
Each year, the ADCOLOR Award nominees and honorees are selected based on criteria surrounding ADCOLOR’s motto “Rise Up and Reach Back.” Those honored not only excel in their own careers, but also give back to the community and support their peers. Their goal is to create a network of diverse professionals to encourage and celebrate one another. The Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to individuals who are seasoned industry veterans who pushed the boundaries and created positive change, setting the stage for generations to come to take the opportunities made by these icons, even further.
The other two honorees of the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award are Bill Imada, Chairman & Chief Collaboration Officer of IW Group, Inc. and J. Melvin Muse, Chairman & Chief Creative Officer of MUSE, INC.

Daisy Expósito-Ulla is a pioneer and a recognized authority in multicultural marketing and brand communications. In 2015, d expósito & Partners was chosen AEF Agency of the Year by the Advertising Educational Foundation which also recognized Daisy “for her contributions to American advertising.” Among her many honors: The New York Women in Communication’s Matrix Award; AAF’s Role Model; New York Women’s Agenda Star; The Carnegie Foundation; The Carvel Immigrant Award; and New York’s International Center recognition which she shares with Nobel laureate Elie Weisel and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
At Young & Rubicam’s The Bravo Group, Daisy led and helped build a one-million dollar company to reach billings of nearly half-a-billion, advancing it to be the largest Hispanic and multicultural agency to this day.  She not only helped that agency’s clients grow their business by seizing the Hispanic market opportunity, but her work helped the entire industry make a case for paying attention to this market. Presenting Daisy with an award, Ambassador Ed Ney, Chairman emeritus, Y&R, described her as “the most important Madison Avenue success story written by a woman not born in the United States.”
Besides having received numerous industry and creative awards (Clio, Effie, Addy, among others,) she has consistently appeared as one of the Most Influential Latinos in the U.S.A. Her participation on boards includes the Ad Council, the AEF, and the 4A’s Foundation and she is a founding member of AHAA (The Association of Hispanic Ad Agencies) and served as its president.
The Award night will also include other winners in categories such as the Legend Awards,the MVP Award, the One Club|ADCOLOR Creative Awards, the Catalyst Award, the Advocate Award, the ADCOLOR in Tech Award, theRising Star Award, the Rock Star Award, the Innovator Award, the Ad of the Year Award and the Change Agent Award among others.
