Under Towan’s leadership, IGS has grown the company from $500,000 to 4 million earning the top 20% of the Inc. 5000 list in 2014. Towan is highly regarded for her expertise in communications, marketing, and leadership and often speaks on leadership, organizational development, marketing, and Millennials.
Isom brings more than 20 years’ experience in marketing and strategic communications. As a result of her strategic creativity, relationships, and customer service, IGS growth has been remarkable. IGS’s clients include commercial and federal clients including the U.S. Marine Corps, Exelis, GlaxoSmithKline, the U.S. Army’s Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Friendship Public Charter Schools, the U.S. Air National Guard, and numerous others.
Supported by the IGS team, Towan’s primary roles as President and CEO of IGS is bringing in revenue, overseeing staff recruitment, developing new business partnerships, and empowering capacity-building to enable the organization to continue to grow and evolve. In addition to being a powerhouse CEO, she is also the author of Chasing Greatness: The Young Professional’s Guide to a Dynamic Life (2010), which she authored while living in London.
