Roshini Rajkumar is a Speaker, Communication Coach, and Author. Born in Sri Lanka, Roshini arrived in the United States at the age of two. South Asian traditions were part of her upbringing, and she continually draws from Eastern philosophies in her communication coaching.
A licensed attorney, she started Roshini Performance Group in 2006 after a decade in television news. During her TV career, she reported and anchored the news, launched an investigative unit, and hosted talk shows and telethons on TV and radio. Asked to join CBS Radio Minneapolis in 2007 while growing her own company, Roshini won a Murrow Award for team coverage of the Republican National Convention 2008 Riot. A sought-after communication expert, she speaks to live and media audiences from the viewpoint of her Communicate That!™ program, which is also the title of her first book.
Roshini started her own business in 2006. She guides executives, financial services professionals, attorneys, authors, academics, athletes, and politicos to present their best within their industries and for the media.
Roshini keeps her microphone skills tuned up through radio hosting and commercial talent work. She is an instructor in the Leadership Institute and the Center for Sales Innovation at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she teaches businesspeople how to powerfully negotiate and influence. Roshini is also a co-author of the anthology by national and international speakers, The Power of the Platform: Speakers on Life.
