Inspiring Women in Inspiring Places With New Travel Company Vaera Journeys
Vaera Journeys - retreats for women on the verge of new ideas. Vaera's retreats are styled to help women take their personal and professional goals to the next level by helping them to explore a project that gives them purpose. Vaera Journeys is the brainchild of freelance travel writer and entrepreneur Meagan Drillinger based in both New York City and Mexico. It began as a way to bring together her passion for uplifting other women to follow their own passions with transformational travel. Each Journey is inspired by a unique destination, and offers curated experiences designed to foster creative discussion, including three Mastermind Sessions with a featured guest speaker, and one-on-one coaching. Retreats are kept small, with up to 10 spots, to maintain an intimate space where each Vaera community member can share and grow her talents. During Vaera Journey's retreat this Spring, May 2-7, 2019, attendees will meet in stunning Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's Pacific Coast. Highlights of the trip include outdoor activities; project-centered exercises; a full-day excursion to an off-the-beaten-path destination; and the Mastermind Sessions led by entrepreneur and business coach, Elena Ollick, professional blogger and serial entrepreneur with a host of successful startup websites under her belt. Women build three- and six-month plans while on the retreat, with follow up from Vaera Journeys after the return home to ensure they are on the path to achieving their goals. Rates start at $1,950, based on double occupancy. For more information about Vaera Journeys visit

Reggaelates: Founder Sienna Creasy Creates New Fitness Craze, Combining Pilates + Reggae at Jamaica's Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa

Combining the native dancehall beats of Jamaica with the sculpting moves of Pilates and yoga, Reggaelates founder, Sienna Creasy- also known as Zen Rebel - is the driving force behind the innovative island-inspired fitness craze offered at the Jamaica-based all-inclusive Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa. Based on core strength and rhythmic movements, Creasy's mat-based mashup spices up typical toning classes by infusing locally inspired dance moves and music into the routine. With moves ranging from beginner to advanced (try the Bubbling Camel and Hot Wok for the ultimate full body workout), guests of Hilton Rose Hall Resort & Spa and additional Jamaica-based Playa Hotels & Resorts properties can experience Reggaelates to the musical stylings of Bob Marley, Beenie Man and Shaggy before hitting the beach. Check out some of Creasy's signature movements here.

The active tour company that pioneered multisport and family adventure travel announces two domestic and one international itinerary designed by women, led by women and for women only. Dare to Detour Announces One-Day, Transformative Retreat For Women, Firelight Farm, Bozeman, Montana, March 24th, 2019
For the first time, Dare to Detour invites women to take a personal, One-Day Detour at Firelight Farm in Bozeman, Montana on March 24th, 2019. Dare to Detour, the lifestyle brand dedicated to encouraging women to develop a confident, uplifted, and empowered approach to life's opportunities and challenges, announces its first one-day retreat for women. Held in a breathtaking 100-year old barn on Firelight Farm, just outside of Bozeman, the one-day retreat invites women to take a detour from the everyday, discover something new, and reconnect to a part of themselves that they might have set aside as the responsibilities of life took over - all while surrounded by the unparalleled beauty of Montana's wilderness. Modeled after Dare to Detour's popular annual multi-day retreat, hosted near Bozeman at the Nine Quarter Circle Ranch, this inaugural one-day event will feature a range of experiences that revolve around the theme of "Abundance vs Scarcity: What do you need to Stop, Start & Continue to live more abundantly?" "After the success of our multi-day retreat, we're so excited to be bringing women a new, one-day Dare experience," said Dare to Detour founder Sheryl Ott. Dare to Detour aims to create a movement of women daring themselves to step out of their day-to-day realities to reconnect with their authentic, raw selves. The brand's goal is to provide women with renewed perspective and the support needed to recognize their strength to engage, resilience to overcome, and capability to create - their courage to be. Kristin Karst, Co-Owner, AmaWaterways River Cruises: A Message on International Women's Day
"On International Women's Day, and every day, we celebrate gender balance and diversity." In honor of this year's theme, "Balance for Better," Kristin Karst, Co-Owner, AmaWaterways River Cruises shares her blog about how AmaWaterways supports women who make a positive difference. Read the full story at https://www.amawaterways.com/explore/kristins-blog/101/3-7-2019?utm_medium=email&utm_source=Internal&utm_campaign=Engagement&utm_tar=Past+Guest. She says, "As an entrepreneur in the travel industry, I have been very fortunate to have been surrounded by so many talented, hard-working women within our own company, the travel agency community and other travel companies. We decided many years ago to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in our industry and are proud to have named nine senior travel executives as godmothers of our river cruise ships. For us, it is a special way of recognizing their contributions to our success and the success they have brought to the companies they founded or represent. I am also proud of the diversity and balance within our own teams - our senior executive team is made up of 45% women and our team of 60 remarkable Cruise Managers is made up of 50% women.....The travel industry is beginning to embrace a better balance between women and men in the top leadership positions and I truly believe this will provide an exciting new range of values and inspiration to innovate and grow our industry in the years ahead. Gender Balance is not a women's issue, it's a business issue." by Kristin Karst, Co-Owner, AmaWaterways River Cruises. Follow her blog at https://www.amawaterways.com/explore/kristins-blog
