Roshini is a speaker, communication coach, author of Communicate That! and co-author of Power of the Platform: Speakers on Life. Born in Sri Lanka, Roshini arrived in the United States at the age of two. South Asian traditions were part of her upbringing, and she continually draws from Eastern philosophies in her communication coaching. She is a sought-after speaker and media commentator on topics related to powerful communication, executive presence, and building brand through marketing in the media. Her background includes more than twenty-five years of public speaking and a career in television news. Roshini is also a member of the Minnesota State Bar.As President of Roshini Performance Group, Roshini speaks and coaches business clients around the country on delivering their message and brand identity through powerful communication-whether for their industries, in the marketplace, or to the media. Roshini is an instructor at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. There she teaches businesspeople in both the Leadership Institute and the Center for Sales Innovation about how to powerfully negotiate and influence. She is currently developing a curriculum based on her book for university graduate students. Roshini also advises television news anchors and reporters as they move forward in their broadcast careers.
